Zubair Khalid was born in Pakistan in 1985. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Malaysia in 2017 and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila in 2012. He is currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Federal Urdu University of Arts Science and Technology, Islamabad. His research interests include IoT, WSN for Smart Home Ambient Assisted living, Middleware Design for Virtualization of Sensors and Networks, and Hardware Architecture Design for Video Processing in H.264/H.265/AVC.

Research Interests: Internet of Things, Hardware Design, Virtualization of Networks and Virtualization of Sensors.
