Muhammad Shiraz is an Associate Professor at Department of Computer Science, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences and Technology Islamabad, Pakistan. He completed PhD from University Malaya Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in 2013. He has Completed Masters in Computer Science from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad Pakistan in 2007. He completed under graduation from CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences Peshawar Pakistan with the distinction of Gold medal in 2005. He has over 17 years experience of teaching, research and administration. He has published several papers in high quality International Journals Since 2011. His areas of interest include distributed applications design for Ubiquitous Networks, Distributed Systems, Lightweight Applications, Smart Client Applications and Optimization Strategies, Mobile cloud Computing, Edge Computing and Fog Computing.

Research Interests: Distributed Computing, Internet of Things, Cyber Security, Mobile Cloud Computing and Cloud Computing.
