Dr Hafiz Abdul Rashid is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Islamic Studies. He has been the HoD of the Department for 7 years. Moreover, he is the Director of Seerah Chair at Federal Urdu University, Islamabad Campus. He has been teaching at Federal Urdu University since 2003. He has a PhD in Seerah Studies from the National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad. He has published several research papers in HEC-recognized national and international journals and presented research papers at national & international conferences. He is the chief- Editor of the Al-Wifaq Research Journal. His main area of research is Seerah Studies and Tafsir. Additionally, political and social thought of Islam and Islamic Research Methodology are other topics of interest. He is also a member & coordinator of the many committees of this University as well as the other universities.
