I am Dr. Aurang Zeb, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science, and Technology, Islamabad. I bring to your attention my credentials and experience for your kind consideration. I hold a Ph.D. degree from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, which I attained in 2009. With a total of 28 years of teaching experience, I have contributed significantly to the field of education. My journey in academia began with the Punjab Education Department, where I served as a lecturer from October 1995 to February 2010. Later, I had the privilege of serving as an Assistant Professor at Jubail University College in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, from February 2014 to June 2017. In addition to my teaching experience, I have held various administrative roles, demonstrating my leadership skills and commitment to academic excellence. I served as the Director of the Evening Program at Federal Urdu University, Islamabad Campus, from April 5th to September 6th, 2018. Subsequently, I had the honor of leading the Department of Physics from September 7th, 2018, to September 6th, 2021. Furthermore, I have contributed as a Member of the Departmental Council as an external expert at Mirpur University of Science and Technology. My research interests encompass thin film technology for solar cell applications, synthesis of nanoparticles, and thermal properties of porous materials. Over the years, I have supervised the research work of more than seventeen MPhil students. Additionally, I have published 19 articles in recognized international journals, further establishing my credentials as a researcher and academician. I am committed to upholding the values of academic integrity, fairness, and excellence in education. As such, I am dedicated to contributing positively to the growth and development of our esteemed institution.
